Fritz Spindler (Wurzbach, 24 November 1817 – Niederlößnitz/Radebeul, near Dresden, 26 December 1905) was a German pianist and composer, especially of works for the piano. His output of more than 400 opus numbers〔Hirschberg, David (2000), (''Technic Is Fun: Preparatory: Elementary B'' ), Alfred Publishing Company, p. i, ISBN 0-7692-9707-2〕 includes salon pieces, chamber music, symphonies and other large forms, and over 300 piano pieces,〔Bachus, Nancy (1998), (''The Romantic Spirit 1790-1910: Book 1'' ), Alfred Publishing Company, p. 28. ISBN 0-88284-861-5〕 but is best remembered if at all today for a much-anthologized Sonatina. He published almost three hundred and fifty compositions. ==Publications==
